Cute and cheap. It's a fast food place but was nice to try something different on our road trip besides the typical chains.

Fast & friendly service. The food was fantastic as usual.

Had 1/2 rack rib plate. Moist, tender, good smoked flavor ribs. Potato salad was creamy, fresh tasty. Very good food

This is a statewide chain with several locations. It was a carry out order as we were travelling and in a hurry. It was ready when we arrived. We had what I would describe as pulled or shredded beef sandwiches. Really tender, lean and well seasoned, but honestly, little or no smoked flavor at all. Sauces were homemade and excellent. Red (spicier) and white (mayo based). Both are good. Sides were tasty. Vinegar based slaw (could be allowed to ferment or soften a bit more), and green beans. Go in with an open mind. BBQ styles are very regional and subject to interpretation. You're in Alabama - not Memphis, KC or St. Louis. Other items (ribs, chicken) looked excellent. Try the white sauce on chicken. Place was busy.

Came to the drive thru couple days ago. Nice girl was taking my order and Adriana noticed my license plate and made sure to get my veterans discount. I didn’t even have to ask. Service was great and getting food was fast. Will come again soon.

Me and the wife stopped in and got the 2 stuffed potatoes and they were awesome. They have a very friendly staff that delivered prompt service and very clean facility.

Nice Lawler's location. Staff is super polite and BBQ always great! Typically get through the line quickly.

We stopped here on 12-05-19 to order a couple of loaded potatoes, after hearing from locals that this was the best food around. Unfortunately, I have a pepper allergy. Our server Ellise, (and the other staff,)treated me with such concern and diligence, that I left wishing we had this place back home. The food was exceptional as well. Thank you Ellise!

The bbq pork sandwich with slaw was incredibly delicious!! This is a must stop and eat place on your journey. Really, really tasty. You won't be disappointed.

An amazing BBQ restaurant for the whole family. They have great pulled pork, ham, beef and turkey. LawLers also has the largest loaded potatoes (stuffies) that will tame even the most robust appetite. End your meal with a delicious pecan pie or Hershey cream pie.

Lexi helped us out with a smile, great attitude since we knew nothing about the place. Cheerful, fast, and efficient☺ We pulled into lot 10 minutes before closing(time change for us), no rush for us to get out.Billboards still do work along the highway.Have never saw such a huge potato as was used in the Stuffie(would have liked more meat😁). Unique sauces available so I tried 2 and liked them both.I loved the decor inside using rod and reels on the walls. And the fish, boat were nice touch.

Lawlers was recommended by some friends of ours and may I say! Devine! The pulled pork was superb! They have an option to buy a family pack and take it with you, you can make your own sandwiches at the hotel or wherever your staying. Nice atmosphere as well.

It is absolutely a great place to experience.... Cheerful fun-loving/ hospitality from the staff... And the food...just amazing... Balanced well-cooked to perfection... Definitely would refer family,friend and/or stranger...

I love LawLers. Stuffed potatoes is awesome and according to my wife they have the best ribs around. Service is light years beyond Big Bobs and the food is just as good. Should be noted that this is a self serve restaurant with no wait staff which to me just means no tip.

So good experience and bad , coming from Tampa Florida, thought we stop in and try this for the first time, bad cashier dropped a plate of bbq by foot , went to get drinks while they cleaned up the mess , she called said our food was done, as I walk back over their I slip and jerk my neck as I'm reaching for something to grab so I don't fall hit my head and cause myself a seizure . The cleaned up the mess but didn't mop up the grease/bbq that still sat on floor. If I was an older person I would have hurt myself besides my neck .😡😡😡 But the good experience of this was the food was delicious. Got the plulled pork bbq plate and my boyfriend got stuff potatoe, great food loved the bbq sauce so much ended up buying a bottle of the reg and hot sauce.....

The Mac and cheese was good the potatoe salad was delicious but the chicken was bland and the coleslaw was yucky I've only been in alabama a few months and I've encountered alot of bot so nice fast food people but imani was very very nice

Ordered online through grubsouth. The only reason I ordered them over 306 was for the white sauce. Which they kindly forgot to include with my order along with the cutlery.. Thanks guys.

Friendly counter help. Didn't take long to get our food. Interesting facts on walls. Food was hot and food portions were nice size. BBQ sauce had a good flavor.

Great place for barbecue with slaw on your sandwich! The slaw is a vinegar type and so tasty (I don’t usually care for cole slaw) the sides are not my favs but the barbecue is so good I don’t care. We just stopped on a whim on route to Louisville from Birmingham.

Great food, great environment, and great staff. I eat at LawLers around once a month and I got to tell you, I have never had a bad experience. The food always comes out quick and is delicious. Give it a try if you haven't already.

Today, I ordered a pork sandwich from Lawlers Barbecue. It was very good, plenty of meat. The red sauce given separately upon request, was really to my liking-sweet with a little heat. Will definitely go back again.

Fast service and friendly staff. Ribs were very greasy!! I would not go there again.

Only downside is they are closed on Sundays. The biggest decision about eating here is deciding on the Turkey or Pork....both delicious. Then choose the white or red bbq sauce.

I am a trucker who walked to the drive thru window.I was greeted very kindly and quickly served with some really good food!Rib plate was great and dessert was as well!Very friendly staff!

Lawlers is a family favorite. We here most Tuesdays and everyone gets a stuffed potato. It never disappoints.

The food is consistently excellent. Everything they have seems to be good. They make you feel like you are having Sunday after church dinner at grandmas house every time you are there. The food is good and portions are enough to stuff you. The stuffed potatoes are enough for two people and the baked chicken is always excellent. Try it with the white sauce! This place will not disappoint you. We are blessed that it is local and we can have it weekly.

Some of the best pulled pork I've had. Perfectly seasoned, no barbecue sauce needed. The sides were also fantastic.

Drive thru is very fast. We love the stuffed potato with pork. Delicious!

The food at this place is fantastic! The stuffers are massive baked potatoes loaded with toppings. The sampler platter is a great bet because you get a little of everything. You honestly chat go wrong with anything. The staff is also wonderful and so kind. It's a real good group of folks. I do highly recommend this restaurant.

I've never had a bad experience so far! This Athens, AL location has always been so great-- customer service is amazing and food quality has been top notch. Always a correct order and very friendly. I'm obsessed with the stuffies°crave them all the time now! I can't wait to try the whole menu!!

Service was AWESOME but ribs and potatoe salad was just ok and mac and cheese was very salty, I would be okay not going there again

The bbq here is top notch. The young lady at the register was very polite and the kitchen staff had my food ready very quickly. The bbq nachos are a game changer.

We stopped to eat here tonight and didn't even realize that they closed at 8pm... We were there until about 8:30 .. didn't realize until we were going to the car that the open sign was already off... The staff were so very friendly to us .... we appreciate it very much 😊! Next time we will know what time this location closes .. thank you!

Good bbq, i was goinf for the super stuffed potato but unfortunately they were sold out at the moment. That being said it was super busy(which is always a good sign) and the potatoes were part of a sale. They gave us a coupon to get the sale any other day, so no harm no foul. All and all pretty tasty
